Coinciding with International Women's Day, and under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law and Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saib Mahmoud, the College of Law and Political Science's Women's Empowerment Unit held a scientific symposium on promoting women's positive participation and ensuring their representation in political and social positions. The symposium was held in the college library.
The symposium, which was attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saib Mahmoud, Assistant Lecturer Nihaya Hamid Attar, Assistant Lecturer Fatima Muhammad Ali, and Assistant Lecturer Albertine Athir Ghazi, addressed measures that can be taken to promote women's political participation in society. These measures include increasing awareness and education on political issues, which would encourage women to engage in politics. They also include implementing policies and initiatives that support women's participation in political processes, such as providing financial and logistical support to female candidates, promoting a culture of gender equality, and empowering women to assume leadership roles that can help them increase their political participation.
And God grants success.
